Camden Chamber of Commerce : 10 Big Ideas to Grow South West Sydney :

If you have opened up this link that probably means you care about your community and its future - so do we and we want to do something positive to shape that future.

So in recent months we engaged in conversation with other local Chambers of Commerce and Industry Inc (chambers) and the NSW Business Chamber who all agree that South West Sydney is an exciting hub for community, commerce and opportunity.

Those meetings identified three key matters;

1. That our community has a responsibility to shape its own future and cannot/should not leave it to government alone to determine what we need.
2. The need to build a core group of ideas that will grow the South West Sydney in a way that delivers positive economic, social and environmental outcomes.
3. The need to engage the community in robust discussion to focus on opportunities and solutions that are reflected in the core list of ideas.

To that end the local chambers have compiled the following draft list of 10 BIG IDEAS to grow South West Sydney.

We now need the broadest section of our community to debate these ideas - this is where you can actually shape the future of your community.

We invite you to work through each of the following 10 BIG IDEAS and let us know what you think. Your views matter - as once we digest all the responses we will then be able to finalise the 10 BIG IDEAS list and present that list to those that can/should deliver on those needs - governments of all levels.
